Summer 2024 Registration
Thank you for your interest in summer school at the Montessori School of Champaign-Urbana (MSCU)! We are excited to offer 3 sessions this summer! Please see above for session dates and costs. Lunch is included in the fees for ALL registered summer students (including elementary).
Please note the following IMPORTANT information:
— We will offer an 8:00AM-4:00PM schedule; you may drop off anytime between 8:00-8:20AM, and pickup any time before 4:00PM.
— Sessions will run MONTHLY, not weekly, and will not be prorated.
— If you register for Session A and then need to add Session B later, please contact the office and we will be happy to add the session for you if there is available space for your child.
Summer School is Available For All Current Students, New Students Enrolling for Fall, and Previous Students Who Successfully Attended MSCU in the Past!*
— All current students will receive their summer school registration link in their re-enrollment information email.
— New Students enrolling for Fall will receive their summer school registration link in their official acceptance letter!
— If you have children who successfully attended MSCU in the past but no longer attend, reach out to Lillian at admissions@montessorischoolofcu.org for the specific form needed to register them due to their special status.
*NOTE: If there is a hold on a student’s registration for academic, behavioral, financial, or other reason, an acceptance and summer tuition agreement will not be issued until the School has had an opportunity to resolve the concern to the School’s satisfaction with the family.
How to Register for Summer School
Current families will receive the form to register online in their email. The linked form will be specific to each child in your family, so please be sure to use the correct link for each child. Because space is limited, please do NOT consider your child registered for summer until you receive an official email and tuition agreement from the School confirming your spot, and you have signed and submitted the tuition agreement.
If your child does not currently attend MSCU but attended successfully in the past, and you would like to register them for summer, reach out to Lillian at admissions@montessorischoolofcu.org; there is a different form needed to register them due to their special status.
Payments
Once your registration has been approved, you will receive an invoice for summer costs. You can pay electronically via a link on your invoice. Alternatively, you may make any payments by check directly to the school office. Please be sure to note your child’s name and the purpose of the payment (e.g., “Summer School 2024 – Session A tuition”) in the memo/notes line of whichever payment option you choose.
NOTE: Sibling and staff discounts apply toward summer tuition, provided that students meet the requisite conditions for the discounts. Scholarships do not apply toward summer tuition.
Registration and Payment Deadlines
February 15th is the deadline for priority registration for summer school. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive an official confirmation email that your child is registered for your desired summer program. As spots are limited, please do not assume your child’s spot is secured until you receive the official confirmation email.
April 1 is the final deadline for communicating any decremental registration changes that may be needed. Program costs will NOT BE REFUNDED OR ROLLED OVER if you need to change to a lesser program or withdraw after April 1, so please be sure of the program and dates you wish to enroll for prior to registering. After April 1, families are responsible for paying the tuition for the program they have registered for, even if they end up needing a session with fewer attendance days or needing to withdraw. If you need to add another session after April 1, please contact the office and we will be happy to add the session for you if there is available space for your child.
Final payment for summer tuition is due on the following schedule:
— Session A or C tuition = $1,730.00 due by April 1
— Session B or C tuition = $1,370.00 due by May 1
