Car Line Instructions: Primary Building

Please enter from the NORTH side of the circle drive. Pull forward so two vehicles may fit underneath the overhang. Once your child is out of the vehicle, exit to the south.
Cell phone use of any kind, including hands-free, during pick up and drop off is strictly prohibited.

When you arrive at school, please wait at the end of the walk-up sidewalk for a staff member to signal you to cross the car line; children may not cross the car line on their own.
If driving and parking on the street to walk your child to the front door, please try to park on the WEST side of the street and do not linger near the circle drive entry and exit points with your family, as this facilitates traffic flow.
Please DO NOT allow your child to walk/run/play unattended/unsupervised anywhere on school property, including the sidewalk and street in front of the school as you walk to school. This includes Elementary children. Toddler/Primary Children should hold an adult’s hand at all times when approaching the school.

Even if the car line is long, please DO NOT try to pass other cars in line or allow children to exit the car before arriving at the drop off point under the overhang; this is an extreme discourtesy and safety issue to other families who are waiting their turn in line. Families who exit the car early will be asked to return to their cars and wait until they have arrived at the front of the car line to exit.
Please help your Toddler or Primary child exit from the passenger side or hold their hand to guide them around the car from the driver’s side. Children may NOT wander on their own or run across the car line area; this is essential for traffic safety.
